Stayed 5 nights. Staff ...

Stayed 5 nights. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. 24hour front desk service. Guest laundry room, gym, water slide, pool and hot tub. Hot tub was great, actually HOT with great jets, swimming pool was very small and mostly for kids going down the slide(not a pool you can swim laps in) towels provided. Free breakfast every morning. Eggs, sausage, toast/bagels/english muffins, danishes and cinnamon rolls, waffle makers to make your own fresh waffles(delicious!), yogurt, 5 types of cereal, milk(dairy only), oatmeal, 3 types of juice, coffee, tea. Coffee was good-or could have been, had they not brewed all the coffee extremely light. Also tasted like the coffee urns really needed a deep clean inside. They used an indigenous coffee brand, Spirit Bear Coffee, and seemed proud about it-but really didn’t do it justice by the lacklustre brewing. I do like that they had coffee and tea bags and hot water available all the time. Room was ok. Mini fridge and microwave included as well as air conditioning, iron, ironing board and hair dryer. The carpet in the room was gross and didn’t feel good about being barefoot in my room. The lounge chair was disGUSTING. I’m no germaphobe but I’d rather sit on a park bench than this chair-I put my suitcase on it so my clothes wouldn’t touch it lol. Really should be deep deep cleaned or thrown out. Bathroom had bar soap for the sink and big dove bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash on the wall in the shower. Careful in the bathtub-it has been ‘bath fitted’ aka a new plastic tub and shower walls have been plopped over top of an older tub. Pretty common, but this one felt like it was going to break when you got in, so be careful. Lots of indigenous artwork around the hotel and rooms, and an indigenous restaurant across the parking lot with delicious food and reasonable prices. Designated smoking areas outside with beaches and ashtrays. Short drive to Walmart and other stores and restaurants. Good location if you have a vehicle or are taking Ubers/taxis. There were a couple sketchy folks hanging around the smoking areas a few nights, but I don’t believe they were guests of the hotel, nor were they there long. I would stay here again and likely will next time I’m in Edmonton. Shoutout to the awesome staff.

The hotel was decent. ...

The hotel was decent. The kids loved the pool. Rooms were clean and the house keeping team was very prompt. Sadly, the television options were TERRIBLE. It’s 2026 and the options were either paying for on demand movies or watching the cable “what’s on” list SLOWLY scroll by to choose basic cable shows like it was 1991. We even brought our Apple TV along and it could not be connected because the TV’s have guards on the cords so you can’t switch them out. Just seems like logging into your own Netflix account should be pretty standard by now. Also, a tip for those with young kids, the floors are incredibly loud. I’d advise against staying on an upper floor with littles because their feet will get you complaints. I also heard a lot of stomping and we were on the top floor so I think it’s just not sound proofed very well. Overall the stay was fine though
