Staff was typical minus the breakfast buffet worker who was obviously frustrated when told things had run out. They should have someone to help her honestly. Rooms are over due for a deep clean especially the bathrooms. Heavy dirty in deeper corners between tiles, under sink rims, etc...pool was nice but supper busy with young kids not following the rules and no one to tell them or the parents other then other hotel guests.

The pool is very tiny and echoey and was filled with screaming children. It would be nice to have some better sound insulation or some adult-only hours so that we could have used it, but I understand kids like pools; just keep this in mind if you are sensitive to sound at all, you will not like the pool. The room was clean and the hotel has a lot of lovely Indigenous Art. We had some troubles with the air conditioning being very loud and only working in one part of the suite, and guest services didnt have any ear plugs which was a shame. There was also no lotion in the room which is not the end of the world but left my skin a little dry. The choice to play Fox News at breakfast in the lobby of a Canadian hotel was interesting. Overall the stay was pleasant but not as nice as it could have been due to these issues.

The continental breakfast was fantastic and well stocked. The hotel was clean but a little dated. The walls/floors were definitely built without a ton of insulation as you could hear through the walls, people walking/talking about and toilets flushing from rooms above. Location was fine but unfortunately not in close walking distance to any good restaurants. Overall, it was good value
